I'd be sorry if I left anyone with the impression that I dislike horses. In hindsight, I wish we'd been more careful before promoting their use in Imi, but Pisafuego, Pochi (long-since forgiven), Ndechi, Yasi, and all but one of the other horses I got to work with, became more like friends than work-partners or beasts of burdon. The exception, el Tuerto, demonstrates my point. Horses have individual personalities; you get used to them, you work with them, you may like them, or you may not. I never liked Tuerto.
