Pisafuego may not look like much, especially in this picture, with his head down and his Winter skinniness. And in fact he is, as they say, getting long in the tooth (a phrase I never understood till I started working with horses), pushing twenty. The poor guy gets tired and has a hard time pulling his weight. On the other hand, he is always willing to do his best, or better, and no one ever knew a nicer, more agreeable horse.
