Doña Lucia's husband is Faustino Flores (yet another of Justina and Ernesto's children). Like the rest of his family, Faustino was particularly welcoming when I first arrived. Like his brothers Anastacio and Héctor, he's a smart guy who took his education seriously: he was the first person from Imi to graduate from high school. He had hoped to continue on in college, but in his case the red tape proved too difficult. It's a shame in any case, of course, but particularly so in Faustino's case: he is totally committed to his community, and his only ambition was to complete school and come back as a teacher.
I can testify that he would have been great in the classroom. I hired him to spend an hour every day teaching me Guaraní. We managed to keep this up for over a year, despite his increasing responsibilities, and mine, and though I did not, in fact, learn Guaraní well enough to converse in the language, I did learn a lot about it, and even more about Guaraní history and culture in general.
